Why me?
Your mission deeply resonates with me. I graduated from college in 2008 and began applying for jobs just as the economic recession hit. With few resources at my disposal and facing one of the most difficult job markets in recent history, it took over a year—and hundreds of applications—before I landed a full-time role. The chance to reduce that friction and turmoil for Gen Z and future generations is incredibly meaningful to me.
I’m also a firm believer in collaboration and a culture of feedback. The best work I’ve been part of has come from multidisciplinary teamwork grounded in mutual respect. That’s the kind of environment I thrive in, and I’d be excited to bring that mentality to Handshake.
