In the summer of 2008, I traveled to India to work with a few NGOs. I began my journey armed with a Holga, a digital point-and-shoot camera, and a healthy dose of naiveté.

Boats docked on the river bank of the Ganges River in India, with colorful buildings and people on the steps of a riverfront in the background.
Group of people sitting and standing on rocks overlooking a lush green landscape with trees and cloudy sky.
People on a beach with boats, some standing and some sitting, during sunset or dusk.
A busy street scene near a bus stop with people waiting and walking, a red and green bus, and an overpass in the background on a sunny day.
